Tuesday Tunes

It's been a long time since I've done anything habitually over here, but I really wanted to do this post last week.

You see, I used to do this pretty regularly, but then I stopped doing anything regularly.

So this edition of Tuesday Tunes is brought to you by break up. These three songs have meant more to me in the last month and a half than you could imagine. Hope you enjoy!

1. A Little Bit Stronger - Sara Evans

2. Bartender - Lady Antebellum

3. Chainsaw - The Band Perry

I obviously like country. And these are definitely good ones to blare over and over. Trust me, I know by experience. Especially chain saw :)

Tuesday Tunes

A couple months ago, we got word that a very amazing band was going to be playing a show at the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa. You may or may not have heard of them, but either way you're going to be enlightened today about how amazing The Black Keys is. In honor of the concert I will be attending on Saturday, I am going to share with you a couple of my favorite songs of their's. I figure that The Black Keys will most likely play most of their show from their newest album, "El Camino," and will probably throw in a couple songs from "Brothers," the album just before "El Camino."

So, I'm sharing with you my favorite song from each of the two albums.

From Brothers, I give you Everlasting Light:

Now when the song "Lonely Boy" came out, I was obsessed. I listened to it on YouTube on repeat, posted it on all of my favorite social media sites, and even created a ringtone on my phone with the song.

THEN, I bought the El Camino album, and became obsessed with the entire album. I love Little Black Submarines, it starts off super mellow then has a SICK guitar break down.
HOWEVER, I am not going to put that song on this post. I'm going to enlighten your ears a super catchy and upbeat tune.

From El Camino, I give you Gold on the Ceiling:

I hope you all really do take a listen and enjoy these songs as much as I do! I am SO EXCITED to be seeing this band on Saturday! You can bet I'll take too many pictures and have a ton of fun :)

Tuesday Tunes

Recently, I discovered the band called The Black Keys. I know they've been around for a while, and I'm sure I'm probably one of the last people on this earth to discover how amazing they are, but I'm seriously obsessed. Their recent single "Lonely Boy" is the song that started my obsession. But I'm not sharing Lonely Boy with you today. No, I found a song of theirs that I like even better and that is what I'm sharing with you today.

Today I give you my current The Black Keys obsession, and it's Howlin' For You:

Do you like The Black Keys? What are some of your favorite songs by them? I always love new music and would love to hear what you like from The Black Keys!

Tuesday Tunes

If you have been following this blog for a while, you know that I used to have a feature called Tell the World Tuesday. However, it's been roughly 6 months since I've featured anyone, and I love Tuesdays. So today, I bring you something fun that may appear every now and then on a Tuesday. I've seen this around before, but I never participated because of my feature.

My first Tuesday Tunes is going to feature ONE song. Now that I don't have papers to write, tests to study for, and parties to go to (as often) because I'm a semi-adult now, I watch TONS of TV. No seriously. Probably too much for my own good. I have a serious relationship with my DVR. Anyways, I watch a show on the CW called Hart of Dixie, and this song rolled in the final credits of the last episode. AND. I. FELL. IN. LOVE.

I give you Ho! Hey! by The Lumineers:
