So where have I been?
I actually haven't been anywhere. With me having my first-ever big girl job, I'm trying to find the fine balance between working, sleeping, and having some "me" time. Blogging would be how I would spend my alone time when I was back at school, but I'm having a hard time finding that now that I have a real job, just because I am so tired ALL THE TIME. I know that's not a good reason to temporarily go MIA in the blogiverse, but it's the truth. I'm dating someone, and I don't even have time to see him. I've decided to schedule a bunch of 30 Day Photo Challenge posts so you'll at least have some pictures to look at while I'm still trying to find that balance.
So I have been working, working, working, and dreaming about moving into my apartment. I got approved to move in on Tuesday, and will be looking at moving into an apartment complex in a suburb of Tulsa either August or September, depending on when they have an opening for me. I'm going to be living on my own for the first time! I'm super excited!!
Here's to being a first-time big girl!

I'm not dead yet :)
Hello bloggers and readers! I know, I KNOW, that I've fallen off the face of the planet this week. It's been crazy all over the place. First, I may not have mentioned this before, but my father and I do not have a relationship at all. He came in semi-unannounced on Sunday and I was not prepared for it at all. It ended horribly too.
On Tuesday, I sent my brother off on a jet plane to go to boot camp. I had some leaking of the eyes, but I didn't cry. He won't be back in Oklahoma until a week before my birthday in November, and that makes me sad.
I started my new job on Wednesday, and I really think I'm going to like it. I have been working both that job and the concession stand job, which is why I haven't been around much. I have had very few hours of down time, and this is actually the first time I've turned on my computer all week. But I'll continue on with the 30 Day Photo Challenge:

Day 05: A Picture of Your Favorite Memory
I have a really hard time picking just one, so here are multiple pictures:
getting accurately portrayed by awesome people
watching OU beat Texas my senior year with my friends

the night of IRD...crazy all over the place.
date party shenanigans

graduating from college
my senior date party, and all the shenanigans that ensued
Thanks for bearing with me through all the craziness that's been going on in my life this week. I will also kind of be MIA for the weekend, as I will be working my first job. Next week is only one job though, and I also will be putting a deposit down for an apartment! I'm super excited.

I'm still alive.
So I know I took pretty much an entire week off. There wasn't much going on in my life, except for the typical "I'm a senior with about three weeks left so I'm trying to live it up and fight senioritis" thing. What have I been doing since you last read about my adventures? Let's see....I've participated in Relay for Life, I've visited my friends, I've had a good time hanging out with my girls, I've had a good time hanging out with my boys, I've worked on homework, I've participated in two initiation ceremonies, I've watched movies, I've slept a little, I've worked, I went to a sorority luncheon....I think that's about it in a nutshell.
So even though I haven't given you the intimate details of my life lately, let's just say it's been a good week :)
I have another fun Tell the World Tuesday feature for you tomorrow from one of my new favorite reads, so check back tomorrow for that! And if I don't get anyone else, I may just answer the questions myself so you all can see what I would answer to them because this is my blog and I'm allowed to be a little narcissistic :)
Here are some pictures for you to enjoy in the meantime of most of my adventures!

I promise I'll try to be a little bit more diligent about blogging this week, but as I said, I'm trying to live it up in my last 25 days as an undergrad...but I do have some fun stuff coming up in the next couple of weeks that will be a lot of fun and a lot of pictures!
Hope you all have a great Monday!

Just a Quick Update to let you know I'm still alive!
Hey guys,
Sorry I have been MIA for the past couple of days. I have been ill and yesterday got kind of bad (after I took a nap).
I am starting my first round of exams, I had a piano exam yesterday and I will have another exam today at 3 p.m.
The weekend will be nice and relaxing, and sports galore! I'm going to the baseball opening day tomorrow, followed by women's gymnastics, and then rounding out the weekend with OU/OSU bedlam wrestling.
The good news part:
So Way back in October when I first started posting consistently, I mentioned that I wanted to apply for Teach for America (I have even had discussions with some about this goal too.) I turned in my application on Feb 4, and found out this past Tuesday evening that I made it past the first round and have been invited to a phone interview! I will be doing my phone interview this Sunday, and from there I may be selected for a final in-person interview the week of spring break. So exciting!
Second, I was featured over at FTLOB on Tuesday! I was super pumped to see my header when it popped up in my google reader! (And hello to the new commenters/followers that came from there! THANK YOU!)
Third, yesterday I was featured on Scenic Glory for her "In Her Shoes" feature. I knew this one was coming, but I was anxious to see what photos she would use for my feature.

If you haven't checked out FTLOB or scenic glory yet, you need to! That is where I have found a majority of the people I enjoy reading and people who inspire me.
I've also met a girl who I would probably call a close friend through For The Love of Blogs as well. She's a fantastically beautiful lady.
So go check out my features, and check out the blogs themselves as well! You'll love them!
I will update more this weekend when I'm not trying to study for tests, do laundry, and overcome being sick!
Happy Thursday! It's almost the weekend!!

I'm baaaaaaaack!
Hello friends,
I know I posted a couple days ago about how I promise that I am reading your comments and stuff, but I had fallen behind in reading your posts. sad face. So, now that it is 10 a.m. on Friday morning and I have been up for about an hour and a half, I am completely caught up with all of your posts! yay!
You guys have been having some amazing adventures while I have been M.I.A. I've gotten to enjoy some beautiful slide show videos, some posts that have made me giggle out loud (causing people to think I'm somewhat crazy), some posts that have made my heart hurt for you, and posts that still inspire me to be better.
I hope you have enjoyed my 30 Days of Truth posts, and I can't believe that I'm already on Day 14! And today's was also the last post that I had scheduled, meaning I am going to have to start writing them again! I only like to write/schedule a few at a time because how I feel about things seem to change a little bit from day to day, and who I want to write to changes a little bit too.
This has been an excellent project for me, as I am doing a lot of soul searching for this activity.
I am, however, looking forward to posting again more on my day-to-day life, and maybe even try to find something new to post weekly. I've been looking around a lot of blogs and it seems that almost everyone I enjoy has one day a week where they post the same thing. I'm not entirely creative, but I'm going to keep brainstorming and hopefully come up with something cool that will have you wanting to see it every week and maybe participate as well.
I started a new officiating job! I very much enjoyed being an official for football for the intramural department at OU for the past two years, and I decided that I wanted to try my hand at basketball this season. I have been doing training for that this past Mon-Wed, and got to officiate my first THREE games last night! I had so much fun doing it, but man am I out of shape! I've got four games coming up this Saturday too, so I'm very excited :)
Today is Fab Friends Friday at For the Love of Blogs, and today I wanted to tell of a Fab Friend of mine who is new to the blogging world. One of my best friends has been reading and following along on my blog, and she just recently made her own blogging world over at A Thousand Different Pieces. She's not quite consistent on posting just yet, but I love reading all the updates she posts! I also love that we share the same Girl Crush with Natalie Portman :) She and I are very similar in many ways, but different enough that it makes for us being the best of friends, and she is completely supportive of me and I her.
Oh, and she also happened to be the person I spent two weeks in Arizona with while I was there over Christmas break.
So go check out Erika's blog at A Thousand Different Pieces and show her some love.

I promise I'm still here!
My Dear Friends and Readers:
I know that it seems that I have kind of been M.I.A. for about a week, but I promise I am reading all of your comments and things and will respond to them soon! I have a bunch of my 30 Days of Truth posts scheduled, so they automatically show up. Right now, I'm still working on getting into the routine of school and whatnot.
I am starting a new refereeing job (basketball) in the next couple weeks, so I have been doing training for that since Monday. Tonight concludes our training, but I really think I will be busy until around 10:00 tonight. Tomorrow is 500 kinds of busy as well, and then I am driving home for basketball homecoming tomorrow night. HOPEFULLY, with the little bit of free time I should have on Friday morning/afternoon, I'll be able to respond to all of your comments!
I promise I am reading all of them and I love it when you take time out of your day to read and comment on my posts! I really do appreciate it!
I will talk to you all soon!
p.s. Did you see I figured out how to add a signature? I'm slowly learning :)
